Q – What do the children learn in a Kids Can Sew class?
A - Projects consist of a wide variety of clothing projects. These projects are designed in such a way that the students learn fashion design techniques and methods geared to the student’s age.

A – No, I have computerized sewing machines for the children to use.
Q – What supplies will my child need?
A – They will need basic sewing supplies such as fabric scissors, pins, seam gauge etc. I have kits you can purchase or you may buy the items yourself. There is a book with patterns they will need. I supply the materials for their first two projects. After the first two projects they will need to supply the fabric and notions, including thread, for whatever they choose to make.
Q – My child has the basics of sewing but wants to sew something else. What do you offer?
A – My summer sewing camps are designed to build on the child’s base knowledge of sewing and offer them challenging and fun projects. In past camps we have sun dyed fabric and made it into a pillow, we have used the computer to generate our own patterns and made many different kinds of purses.
Q – I made a quilt for my granddaughter and I need a label. Can you help?
A – I can embroider a quilt label for you to attach to your quilt with all the identifying information you need.

A – I can digitize your logo from a bmp or jpeg file and then stitch it out onto your shirts, or on many other types of items.
Q – The children all have the same towel for swimming. Can you put a name on my child’s towel so it doesn’t get lost?
